This is the beloved ‘Red Label’ version equipped with a genuine 6.75 V8 turbo engine. The body is like new, has good paintwork and perfect panel fittings. Also the undercarriage is free of rust and like new. During the years very well maintained and therefore in a perfect working and driving condition. Recently the car had a major service including new tires, of course documented with invoices. The car has her original service- and manual booklets etc. Performed in a beautiful dark green metallic colour in combination with a beige interior. Very chique combination. About Bentley
Before becoming a mere subsidiary to Rolls-Royce, Bentley was an independent Automaker famous for the "fastest lorries in the world" e.i Bentley 4½ Litre.Good ol' Bentley boys (A group of wealthy British motorists, mainly Woolf Barnato, Sir Henry "Tim" Birkin, steeplechaser George Duller, aviator Glen Kidston, S.C.H. "Sammy" Davis, and Dr Dudley Benjafield ) -in their trusty Bentley cars- took four consecutive victories at 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1924, 1927, 1928, 1929, 1930
In 1931 Bentley was taken over British Central Equitable Trust that later proved to be a front for Rolls-Royce Limited. Unhappy with his role at Rolls-Royce, W.O. Bentley left the company when his contract expired in 1935 duly joining Lagonda. This was beginning of which ultimately led Bentley cars to become more or less badge-engineered Rolls-Royce.
