General description :
This 1926 Buick Master Sedan Series 50 is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. 1926 was the beginning of the peak for roaring 20's. People wanted bigger and more lavish things than ever before and this would hold true especially in the car world. Buick would be happy to oblige these requests by completely dropping the 4 Cylinder engine all together and going with either the entry 207 CID straight 6 or the mammoth 274 CID which is what is found in this beauty. This 7 passenger 26 Buick has been in the same family for the last 30 years with consistent and constant maintenance going on throughout the ownership period. Its classic blue paint is in good condition with the correct pin-striping breaking up this super long body nicely. The real wooden spoke wheels are in sound condition with the huge whitewalls looking like they came right out of the movie Goodfellas. Open the door and the massive interior is in exceptional condition and shows extremely well. Upfront the huge bench is covered in period correct Mohair fabric. Behind the front bench are a seat of fold away chairs, yes Buick had fold away seats a good 70 80 years before anyone else. Flip them down and now there is room for an extra two passengers making this the earliest known minivan existence. With the previous owner having the car for at least 20 years and only starting it to take it out and clean it up this 7 passenger is in exceptional condition. If you have been looking for something that’s a little different to add to your collection or just a cool Sunday driver this Buick has your name written all over it. Options on this 1926 Buick Master Sedan include; Mohair Interior and Wide White Wall Bias Ply Tires. Buick, today an American automobile division of the American manufacturer General Motors (GM), was founded in 1899 as the Buick Auto-Vim and Power Company, making it the oldest car make in the US.
To us, the most memorable models in Buick's line up have to be the late 40's Roadmasters and 60's stylish Rivieras with strong Italian influences.
