Chevrolet C15 350 V8 1965

General description : SHARP LOOK, 350 V8, TH400 AUTO, POSI, POWER STEER/FRONT DISCS, GREAT DRIVING!

Sometimes people just know how to build a custom pickup right. This 1965 Chevrolet C10 is a great example. There was a lot of thought put into creating the right colors and features so that is always stands out in the crowd.
The first thing you notice about this truck is the paint. The metallic blue is a cool base color, and in an interesting twist, the pieces that are traditionally chrome have been painted for an updated feel. This metallic silver trim looks like a cool street-rod kind of no-nonsense approach until the sunlight hits it. Then the bumpers, grille, and rear roof portion light up with a deeper shine than chrome. There is even some nice style in the stepside body with the wood in the truck bed upgraded to grey Trex style composite decking (EXTREMELY durable) to match the trim. But if it's aggression you like, the Grand Slam kit from Classic Performance Products gives this pickup an intimidating stance, even when it's just standing still. Of course the 20-inch Boss torq-thrust wheels add a lot to this Chevy's attitude too.
The interior does a great job of continuing the exterior's theme. The same electric blue runs across the dash, and is the base for the doors, but then the silver insert is the perfect complement. You'll notice it instantly as you open the door, that the panel matches up nicely against the two-tone cab. The black vinyl bench coordinates with the three-spoke sports steering wheel, and the upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo. New black/gray carpeting ties it all together, and provides extra insulation. The gauge package in front of the driver looks crisp and original to this C10, but there's also a full auxiliary setup in the center, which is a clear indication that there is something special under the hood.
A great Chevy 350 cubic-inch small block is powering this pickup. These motors are ideal because there are so many performance parts available for them, and this one has already been upgraded with an Edelbrock performance air cleaner, carburetor, and intake. This feeds the dual exhaust that has a sweet rumble from the Dynomax mufflers. The near bulletproof TH400 three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and front disc brakes maximize drive-ability. Plus the low profile Sumitomo HTR tires on the lowered performance suspension gives this pickup a downright sporty feeling on the road.
This truck has all the custom touches you love without losing the original spirit. It's a vintage head-turner, with excellent driving capabilities, at a value price. Call today!!

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
