Description : Gateway classic cars of Nashville is proud to digitally present this 1969 Chevrolet RS/SS Camaro convertible. WOW! I could complete this description with just that one word. WOW! The body work and paint on this classic is amazing. Deep gloss black that has almost no distortion, when looking at yourself in the paint it will not give you the fun house mirror effect. Foose rims complete the look. Ok, you have seen the photos of this beauty, you know how it looks, let open the hood and talk. 427 cubic inch of pure Chevrolet Rat power. 427 happens to be my luck number! This 427 is sporting 290 Cast heads that have been worked and fitted with 2.190 intake valves and 1.880 exhaust, this engine can breathe in the fuel and air with ease. Sitting on top of what looks to be a factory four-barrel intake manifold is a Holley sniper EFI system, complete with coil and distributor. This package looks great, and a quick glance looks just like a 4-barrel carburetor but provides a snappy throttle response and better fuel milage that the standard carburetor. The 10 to 1 compression pistons provide the punch and Hedman headers allow the spent gasses to escape smoothly and effortlessly through the dual exhaust. Standing behind the car while it is running is like listening to stereo horsepower! What looks to be a turbo 400 three speed automatic transmission handles the shifting for you and a 12-bolt rear axle housing splits the power to both rear tires that plant the torque to the pavement. This is the complete package, old school cool, built 427, turbo 400 and I believe a 12 bolt all wrapped up is a beautiful Black, drop top package. Gee I think I just sold myself, where do I sign? Options for this 1967 Chevrolet RS/SS Camaro include: Air conditioning, AM/FM Radio, Power convertible top, Power steering and brakes, 4 wheel disc, front drilled and slotted, Seat belts, Vinyl interior and Chromed alloy Foose rims that are wrapped in Radial rubber.
