Description : Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale is delighted to present this extra-clean, low mile 1989 Chevrolet Corvette in red & white on red.

C4 fans, if you haver been looking for a nice example, you might want to consider this one! This sporty '89 'Vette has only 18,441 miles on it and looks almost new throughout. Rarely do we see a C4 in this condition; most are tired, average to well below average with very high miles. Not this car. It is a breath of fresh air and it runs and drives superbly.

The C4 Corvette replaced the long-lived 1968-1982 C3 Corvette in 1984 and made improvements in all areas, including chassis design, engines, transmissions, safety, and comfort. The 84's hit the ground running, and by 1989, Chevrolet had worked out many of the things people did not like about the first years. The one-year only 1984 Cross Fire Injection 350 was replaced Tune-Port Injection, enhancing performance considerably. This car features the powerful L98 5.7 Liter Tuned Port V8, paired to a 4-speed automatic.

Outwardly, this car looks factory fresh with very nicely updated wheels & tires. (The original wheels with tires are included; additional shipping rates may apply if not a local sale). The convertible top has been replaced, and the car looks sweet top up, or down.

The inside of this car looks very, very good showing minimal wear. Overall probably the nicest you will ever see in a C4, and the owner is including some nice accessories like the Corvette rocker cover to protect the carpet, and an auxiliary armrest pad for the console. It is evident this car was well loved, and cared for. It shows.

Pop the clamshell hood and you will find a basically untouched, unmodified engine bay- which is the way to go if you want reliability- and to maximize your investment long term. This car is the right mix of condition, low miles and colors and we expect it will sell soon. Don't wait. It is fun to drive, a looker, and something you can be proud to own.

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
