Chevrolet Corvette 1992

General description : 1992 Corvette Convertible If you have ever ridden in a Corvette then you know why they are one of the most popular American made sports cars around.  They are responsive, have power, and above all a unique sport look that is all there own.  Nothing else out there looks quite like a Corvette.  This 1992 Corvette Convertible has been painted in new base coat/clear coat in Bright Aqua Metallic (paint code 43) which is its factory color.  In 1992 there were only 1953 Corvettes painted this color.  The car has been gone through by a professional, certified shop resulting in lot of the components on this car being replaced to bring it into 100% original condition.  This includes the new top, new weather stripping, new Delphi OE radiator, new belts, new hoses, new ball joints, new outer tie rod ends, new front brakes, new battery, new starter, new Opti-spark electronic distributor, new AC programmer, new door sill plates, and new 2000 Corvette chrome wheels with Goodyear Eagle tires.  All of this was gone through to insure that the car runs and drives just as it should.  The car has a Black convertible top that is in great shape and also comes with a hardtop.  The hardtop is currently primer but for a small additional fee of $350 we could have the top painted to match the car.  Powering the C4 corvette down the road is a 350 c.i. LT1 motor that is rated from the factory at 300 horsepower.  The car is surprisingly quick and is very fun to drive.  Backing up the motor is a 700R4 4 speed automatic transmission that moves through the gears with ease.  The AC system blows cold and has been converted to 134A so it is much easier to recharge.  Power steering is in place as well as power brakes, cruise control, a tilt column and all of the other luxuries you could ask for.  The interior of the car is in good condition and all Black.  All of the instruments, knobs, switches, etc are there and working as they should.  The Bose factory AM/FM/CD/Cassette player puts out a great sound and self adjusts to raise volume when a lot of road noise is present.  This is one cool Corvette that is being offered up at a very reasonable price so call us today while it is still available! The car has been professionally serviced and needs nothing.  It is ready to go and be enjoyed.   SOLD-PLEASE CHECK OUT OUR OTHER CARS!!

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
