Chevrolet Fleetline LT1 350 V8 1939

General description : SHOW QUALITY, EFI LT1 VETTE 350, 700R4, A/C, STEEL BODY, SUICIDE DOOR, INDY SUSP

This 1939 Chevrolet coupe is a full uniform custom build that brings home the trophies. That means not only the interior and exterior are cool coordinating colors, but also the engine bay and even the undercarriage. Add in the best features around like A/C, overdrive transmission, a fuel-injected LT1 Corvette motor and suspension, and you soon realize this is the custom build that steals every show.
The metallic green and silver is the perfect kind of paint scheme that looks distinctive and amazing. Add in the subtle, but bold orange dividing pinstripe, and the whole package does a great job highlighting the curvaceous steel body coupe's design. You can tell there was a large investment in having a professional hand apply these colors because there's an even and show-quality glow out in the sunlight. Yes, the body is OEM steel that has been treated to a first-rate restoration, with a lot of extra care taken in getting the gaps right. When this much time has been invested in the body, it doesn't need too much brightwork to grab attention. That's why elements like the bumpers and door handles have been removed without a trace. Now this street rod has a very modern and sleek look. Still, it would not be a true American hot rod without some chrome, but now those elements are real standouts. You really see it on places like the grille and the 17-inch American Racing Torq Thrust wheels that have staggered tire sizes for an aggressive forward-leaning stance.
Open the suicide doors, and the green and silver color scheme continues exactly as it was on the outside, right down to the placement of the pinstripe – a very cool touch. The power-adjusting leather bucket seats are more modern and comfortable than anything from the '40s, so they are road trip ready. The color coordinates nicely with the custom door panels, carpeting, and trunk. Speaking of the trunk, this is a business coupe. So there is no rear seat, instead you have an extra large trunk and get to tell people about this cool custom build's link to moonshiner heritage. The leather-wrapped steering wheel has attention-grabbing chrome spokes. Beyond that, a set of digital gauges glows its cool blue across the entire custom dash. While this is obviously a driver's car, you have the passenger seat for a reason. Keep your company in comfort with modern R134a air conditioning, power windows, and the AM/FM/CD stereo.
The moment you fire this one up you know it's different in all the right ways. The fuel-injected 350 cubic-inch V8 LT1 motor was borrowed from a Corvette, and roars to life. It presents very nicely with the engine bay painted to continue the full exterior color scheme. Plus, with most of the components hidden and the tidy presentation, this is the kind of custom work that takes home the trophies. Even the Corvette cover has been painted the metallic green to really highlight that speedy detail. It also has a custom air intake, aluminum radiator, and electric fan, and so you can tell this coupe was built not only to show off, but also to be as faithful as a daily driver. While you're looking at all the details, save some time to look at the undercarriage shots. There you'll see the green and sliver paint again, which is a telltale sign of an expensive build. Also, take note of the upgraded independent front suspension and the chrome independent coilover rear. If that already sounds like a great anytime driver, then you'll also love the upgrades of a four-speed transmission with shift kit and overdrive, power steering, and four-wheel disc brakes.
This 1939 Chevy coupe doesn't just look great, it feels great on the road, too. As you look over all the details, you soon realize that the large trunk is there to haul home all your future awards. So do you want to be winning with this turnkey custom build or come in second to it? Call now!

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
