I could go on all day about the high-end expenses utilized to bring this iconic popular body style from a clean bodied Malibu to an even cleaner mean machine! There's a lot if specifications on this 66 Malibu detailing how much work the owner put into it. Starting from the original body and frame that was really clean and had only 65,000 miles on it as it were stored. The engine, transmission and clutch were all rebuilt in June of 2017 and showcases 1,200 miles since completed. It is equipped with factory power steering and power disc brakes.
Diving into the meat and potatoes, this car was built around the motor! A 496 Stroker with full hydraulic roller, Gen IV packing 700 HP with 675 Torque pounding 10.1 compression. The block is 4.28 Bore x 4.25 stroke, .060 over bore, 2 Bolt main. Bill "Grumpy" Jenkins Iron Cylinder, Erson Dome Pistons, 4340 Forged crankshaft, Rods 6.385 Length, THE LIST GOES ON - Call for more details! All that mated to a Muncie M-21 4-speed with a McLeod Super Street Pro Clutch and McLeod Flywheel.
