Chevrolet Pick Up 350 CID V8 1941

General description : For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our Houston showroom is this all metal, beautifully restored 1941 Chevrolet Pickup. This truck is a lot of fun to drive, with its fresh 350 CID Chevrolet V8 crate motor coupled to a GM TH350 automatic transmission, which have about 4000 miles on them since the restoration was completed. You'll be sure to turn heads wherever you drive it - with its gorgeous blue paint, lots of chrome, and the spats covering the rear tires, people will surely do double-takes whenever they see this cool vintage ride. When they get up close, they'll see some of the other neat custom touches, like the new wood bed with chromed separator strips, fuel fill cap in the bed, seat belt latches for the tailgate, and its excellent chrome all around, they can't help but be impressed. This truck is not just old-school, though, with the addition of a custom center console housing both its new AM/FM/CD player, and some brushed aluminum cupholders to go with the rest of the modernized interior, creature comforts abound. The cockpit has been modernized with a set of new retro-look Equus gauges, brushed billet aluminum dash, LED turn signal indicators, and a wood-rimmed Grant GT steering wheel, its driver will feel both fully informed and completely in control. Add in air conditioning, a comfortable late model bench seat done in contrasting panels of brown and tan, tilt wheel, power brakes, power steering, power windows, and seat belts, this truck is a modernized and much-improved version of what it would have been with a mere restoration. The large exterior sun visor helps keep its occupants as cool as they look, when they're out for a cruise. About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
