Chevrolet Silverado 350 V8 1986

General description : EDELBROCK UPGRADED 350 V8, COLD AC, SINISTER LOOKS, APPRECIATING 80'S CLASSIC!

Is it difficult to appear tough, stylish, custom-built, quick, and vintage all in one pickup? The answer would usually be yes, but this 1986 Chevrolet Silverado half-ton does all that with ease!
The first part that strikes you about this full-size pickup is that bold front end. The factory never put this face on Silverados, but a few clever people in the custom car community realized that the rare face Chevy gave to the final years of the K5 Blazer would also fit on these trucks for a very distinctive and cool look. Silverados are known for their bright trim, which does a particularly nice job of adding distinction to the sinisterly dark black paint. This mean attitude is only heightened by the lowered stance on the large 20-inch BOSS wheels. But as much as this is a street-eating machine, it can still pull real truck duty with the spray-in bed liner, dual gas tanks, and hitch attachment in the rear step bumper.
Inside the black velour interior does a nice job of providing comfortable seating for three without losing the midnight mind-set. In fact, the door panels, carpet, and dashboard all keep this dark attitude going with their deep black appearance. The driver gets a later model three-spoke sports steering wheel, and beyond that is the full set or original gauges. There's even air conditioning to help you stay comfortable in this hot rod pickup.
Under the hood is a 350 cubic-inch V8. We all know how upgradeable these motors are, and we can already see evidence of that in the very tidy engine bay. The Edelbrock air cleaner and valve covers as well as the red wiring will make this something you want to show off. But beyond just appearance, this V8 also has some nice added power. It inhales deeply through an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor and Edelbrock intake, and it exhales through performance headers on their way to the rumbling dual exhaust. But as much as this looks like it was built for the stop light grand prix, the versatility of this Silverado goes much deeper. It's a power steering pickup with a three-speed automatic transmission, front disc brakes, and a versatile 2.73 rear end. This means your cool Saturday night cruising pickup can easily be your highway cruiser, too.
This vintage pickup looks and sounds riotous, and even has the performance to back it up. Still, underneath it all, this wild child is wearing sensible shoes. The cherry on top is the affordable price. Call today!!!

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
