Chevrolet Suburban 402 V8 1968

General description : QUALITY PAINT & INTERIOR, SUPER STRAIGHT, 402 V8, 700 R4, COLD AC, TOW OR CRIUSE

This 1969 Chevrolet Suburban has been restored to have a terrific two-tone apperance, upgraded A/C interior, and a powerful big block under the hood. It's amazing an all-around turn-key classic like this is available today for such an affordable price.
Even if you use this as a family hauler, the recent application of Surfside Blue paint will make any journey feel like an endless summer. And the white has the same level of terrific gloss and shine. This is all part of a recent investment in a quality application. And when something is this shiny, only a bright trim line to divide the two colors will do. Plus, the American Racing Torq Thrust wheels add plenty of sporty nature to this appealing package. All of these are cool upgrades to a classic Suburban, but it gets the fundamentals right, too. This could have been a workhorse, but we'll never know because the restoration was so meticulous to erase any industrial past. Plus, there's nothing cooler than watching a gawkier discover for the first time that the passenger side is the only place for the second-row door.
Inside you'll see all the best factory pieces and all the right upgrades. For example, you get the correct stylized pattern on the seats and door panels that came of the top-of-the-line 1960s Chevy trucks. But today they feel far fresher thanks to a solid investment in factory-correct replacements. This makes for a comfortable cruiser, especially in the bucket seats up front that have a cup holder center console in-between. The driver gets an upgrade three-spoke spores steering wheel, and beyond that is the factory gauge package with crisp, clear readouts. But more than just the driver, this Suburban's huge 127-inch wheelbase is enough to carry friends, family, and all the toys (there's even a trailer hitch behind the license plate.) That's why you have features to keep everyone comfortable, like the provisions for an upgraded AM/FM stereo system, and the modern R134a air conditioning that's blowing ice-cold.
There's plenty of room in the engine bay, so we're glad to see they filled it with big block power. The 402 cubic-inch V8 has added performance of a Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor and Performer intake. And while this makes huge power and plenty of rumble out of the dual exhaust, there's much more to this SUV. The suspension is the comfortable trailing arm rear borrowed from the C10, and there are even sway bars front & rear. The transmission is a 700R4 four-speed unit with highway-friendly overdrive. Plus, you have power steering, front disc brakes, and BF Goodrich T/As. Starting to get the full picture? This classic Suburban was built to comfortably drive near or far and carry all your gear, too.
This is the perfect classic that will make people jealous everywhere from the school run to the boat ramp. And when something this cool is also so affordable, you know you need to hurry if you want to take it home. Call today!!!

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
