Description : Gateway Classic Cars St. Louis Showroom is proud to present this amazing 1953 Dodge B-4 pickup.

The first thing you notice is the beautiful red paint. Finished 3 years ago, but looks like it is freshly done. Great attention to detail was given, and the fit and finish is a much higher caliber than ever produced originally. New wood and bright work complete the bed. Subtle body modifications like the front bumper being pulled in, and body panels bolts removed and smoothed over, give this classic a sleeker appearance without taking away the overall originality.

Inside, you will see the all new interior, done in a period correct style and pattern. Turn signals have been added for safety. Just for fun, a hidden toggle activates the siren, adding a whimsical touch.

Powered by the original, rebuilt 217 ci L-head I-6 with 3-speed manual transmission, and operating on 6-volt electrical system, this 1953 Dodge truck will take you back in time.

Highly detailed and clean from front to back, inside and out, this is one of the finest examples you will find.

About Dodge
Dodge Brothers Company, founded by Horace and John Dodge in 1900, initially produced components for car manufacturers. In 1914 they stepped into car manufacturing when introducing four-cylinder Dodge Model 30 with all-steel body and 12v electric system.

By 1920 Dodge had become the second biggest car manufacturer in the USA, unfortunately the same year both of the brothers died, the company in turn to was sold to Chrysler Corporation in 1928. Dodge found a niche Chrysler Corporation lineup above low-priced Plymouth and medium-priced DeSoto, but somewhat below the top-of-the-line Chrysler
