General description : Stk#092 1976 Dodge Charger Sport Painted Red with a White vinyl top, white stripe at the rear. Body side molding, Cragar rims, dual outside mirrors, dual scoops in the hood. Front & rear bumpers have been rechromed. Turn signals on the fenders, grill is nice. White vinyl interior, bucket seats, white padded dash, console with Automatic in it. Motor Sport Tach mounted on the console. Factory gauges, JVC AM/FM/CD player, package tray with dual speakers. Shoulder and seat belts. White carpet, dual remote outside mirrors. There is a small Grant steering wheel. Nice inside. 360 V8 engine, rebuilt 727 transmission, new balanced drive shaft, 3:90 Posi traction rear end. Edelbrock carb, aluminum dual air cleaner. Headers, power steering, A/C and heat, power front disc brakes and drum in the rear. Chrome coil, Edelbrock intake. Runs good.

About Dodge
Dodge Brothers Company, founded by Horace and John Dodge in 1900, initially produced components for car manufacturers. In 1914 they stepped into car manufacturing when introducing four-cylinder Dodge Model 30 with all-steel body and 12v electric system.

By 1920 Dodge had become the second biggest car manufacturer in the USA, unfortunately the same year both of the brothers died, the company in turn to was sold to Chrysler Corporation in 1928. Dodge found a niche Chrysler Corporation lineup above low-priced Plymouth and medium-priced DeSoto, but somewhat below the top-of-the-line Chrysler
