Dodge D100 1977

General description : 5.7L EFI HEMI, 5 SPD AUTO, NAV, A/C, 4 WHL PWR DISCS, AIR RIDE, 4 LINK, MODERN!

Is this a rare pickup? A cool restomod? A Hemi V8 high-performance machine? As it turns out, this 1977 Dodge Warlock is all of that and much more.
At first glance this looks like a classic Dodge pickup in a bold shade of orange. Then the short wheelbase and aggressive touches let you know it's something quite special. In fact, this is a limited production Warlock. Don't know about the Warlock? It's a part of Dodge's fun performance line that offered toys for adults – kin to the Lil Red Express. This speedy truck has its trademark wood side rails, and even the wood bed was resurfaced to have a great matching appearance. But there's even more to this pickup. The aggressive stance, custom performance hood, wide modern rear tires, and side exhaust hint that this one is even more special than its other low-production brothers.
One peek inside and you instantly know this was an expensive custom build. The original black vinyl seats special to Dodge's toys are still there. They offer the individual comfort of buckets with a center section large enough for an extra passenger or a comfortable fold-down console. But once you sit down in these, you get a different view than any other Warlock out there. It's a modern Dodge setup custom fit from an '03 Ram. This means a much more compressive dash panel with plenty of comfortable features such as air conditioning, AM/FM/CD stereo, and even a satellite navigation system integrated in the design.
But if you want to instantly want to tell the world how special this one is, just park it at your favorite car show and open the hood. After all, everyone will flock to see the Dodge pickup with the custom one-piece front-folding hood that looks like a race car. There you get a great view of the modern 5.7-liter HEMI V8. This fuel-injected motor makes a thumpin' 345 hp right from the factory, and there will be no trouble hearing its monster power thanks to the custom glasspack side exhaust with electric cutouts. But there is also a more practical side to this wild Warlock restomod too. The Ram's five-speed overdrive automatic transmission is still in place. Plus, there's hitch on the chassis and a modern trailer brake for true pickup hauling. This one is great going down the road thanks to features like full adjustable air ride suspension, power steering, four-wheel disc brakes, and four-link rear end. It even comes with a second set of rear tires so you can decide between the modern BF Goodrich gForce and full-on drag tires – all of which are on Cragar wheels.
The Dodge Warlock is already a rare entry into any car show, but now you get to showcase the true wizardry that a large investment in a custom build can do. You even receive a full file of restoration photos and receipts to show off how the modern truck was hidden within this vintage body. It's amazing that something this cool can be so affordable. About Dodge
Dodge Brothers Company, founded by Horace and John Dodge in 1900, initially produced components for car manufacturers. In 1914 they stepped into car manufacturing when introducing four-cylinder Dodge Model 30 with all-steel body and 12v electric system.

By 1920 Dodge had become the second biggest car manufacturer in the USA, unfortunately the same year both of the brothers died, the company in turn to was sold to Chrysler Corporation in 1928. Dodge found a niche Chrysler Corporation lineup above low-priced Plymouth and medium-priced DeSoto, but somewhat below the top-of-the-line Chrysler
