Dodge Dart 318 1964

General description : Cruisin Classics would like to show off a 1964 Dodge Dart. While it is badged as a 270, it is really a 318 cubic inch engine with an Edelbrock Intake and a 750 cfm 4bbl carburetor. It also has Mickey Thompson valve covers, chrome open breather cover, stock manifolds and a stock radiator. This classic is equipped with power steering, manual brakes with 4-wheel drums, LED brake lights, custom paint (20 years???), Bucket seats, aftermarket gauges in addition to the stock gauges and a Push Button Automatic transmission. The car runs great. It starts right up and sounds great. The mileage listed is not accurate. The interior is quite functional but as you can see in the pictures, you would have the option to bring it back (seat covers, headliner, etc.) if you wanted to. The two-tone paint is an older job and is in a drivers quality spectrum. The tires have plenty of tread and the staggered aluminum 5-spoke wheels (17.5 front and 18.0 back) look awesome on the car and gives it a great stance. This is quite a unique hot rod. Not a ton of these out there and if you are looking for something different to take to the show then this is your ride. It would also be a great starter car for someone that would like to dip their toes in the pool that is the classic car world. It is affordable enough not to break the bank.If you have any additional questions, please call one of our friendly sales staff. About Dodge
Dodge Brothers Company, founded by Horace and John Dodge in 1900, initially produced components for car manufacturers. In 1914 they stepped into car manufacturing when introducing four-cylinder Dodge Model 30 with all-steel body and 12v electric system.

By 1920 Dodge had become the second biggest car manufacturer in the USA, unfortunately the same year both of the brothers died, the company in turn to was sold to Chrysler Corporation in 1928. Dodge found a niche Chrysler Corporation lineup above low-priced Plymouth and medium-priced DeSoto, but somewhat below the top-of-the-line Chrysler
