General description : Here's a rare '56 Dodge Lancer Custom Royale! It's powered by a Super Red Ram, 4 barrel, 315CI V8 that runs like a top. It also has a super neat push-button 2 speed automatic transmission! The outside of the car is adorned in chrome and stainless for miles! It's all in very nice shape! The tri-tone paint is almost all original and the body is super straight! Inside, it has brand new ultra-leather upholstery, and a wonderful dashboard display with even more chrome and stainless! The Lancer has 2 inch drop spindles up front, 2 inch blocks in the rear, and sits on a set of new chrome Riddler wheels. It has dual exhaust with chrome tips, rear tail fins, extremely solid floors and trunk, and drives like a million bucks! It's very reliable, and very cool!

About Dodge
Dodge Brothers Company, founded by Horace and John Dodge in 1900, initially produced components for car manufacturers. In 1914 they stepped into car manufacturing when introducing four-cylinder Dodge Model 30 with all-steel body and 12v electric system.

By 1920 Dodge had become the second biggest car manufacturer in the USA, unfortunately the same year both of the brothers died, the company in turn to was sold to Chrysler Corporation in 1928. Dodge found a niche Chrysler Corporation lineup above low-priced Plymouth and medium-priced DeSoto, but somewhat below the top-of-the-line Chrysler
