Dodge Pick Up 5.4L v8 1945

General description : Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer this 1945 Dodge Pick-Up. While the 40's Dodge Pick-Ups were fantastic to begin with, this one has been spiced up with some modern touches. Built on a Ford Ranger frame and rear axle, and with a Ford power plant, this Classic truck runs and drives beautifully. The 5.4L engine runs strong and was donated from an E250 Ford van. Coupled with a 4 speed automatic gearbox and a ford ranger rear end, the truck delivers the power smoothly. In order to insure safe and easy driving, this truck is fitted with power brakes and power steering. Comfort is not an issue here, the A/C blows nice and cold. The exterior of the vehicle is finished with a nice, rich, red paint and has a beautifully crafted wooden bed liner. The interior of this truck is also fitted with wooden door cards and a wooden center console. This 1945 Dodge Pick-Up is for sale in our St. Louis Showroom and can be seen in great detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com. About Dodge
Dodge Brothers Company, founded by Horace and John Dodge in 1900, initially produced components for car manufacturers. In 1914 they stepped into car manufacturing when introducing four-cylinder Dodge Model 30 with all-steel body and 12v electric system.

By 1920 Dodge had become the second biggest car manufacturer in the USA, unfortunately the same year both of the brothers died, the company in turn to was sold to Chrysler Corporation in 1928. Dodge found a niche Chrysler Corporation lineup above low-priced Plymouth and medium-priced DeSoto, but somewhat below the top-of-the-line Chrysler
