Ford F-150 5.8 liter V8 1995

General description : Super clean western XLT with 82,000 original miles. Desirable 4x4 with 5.8 and AOD automatic. Loaded with options, including cold A/C. 8-foot bed with bedliner, newer tires, excellent maintenance, well documented, clean CarFax. Nice truck!

Hailing from out west where the roads aren’t covered in salt, this super clean 1995 Ford F150 4x4 pickup seems to have led an easy life. Bright white paint always looks good on the chiseled F150 styling, and it proudly wears subtle gray 4x4 decals on the pickup bed advertising it’s all-terrain capabilities. There’s no rust, no accidents in its history, and we can’t find even a door ding on the super straight sheetmetal. It really is as nice as it looks in photos. Panel gaps are just the way Ford was doing them in 1995—which means pretty darned good—and the doors close with that familiar Ford sound that will bring back great memories. The XLT package added some stainless chrome and brightwork that really dresses up the working-class pickup, including the bright chrome mirrors, stainless wheel lip moldings, and the brushed stainless tailgate insert. Glass is in excellent shape with no issues and the 8-foot bed features a drop-in bedliner so it’s ready to get to work immediately.

The comfortable gray cloth interior is likewise nicely preserved. Twin buckets with a wide armrest makes the cab feel spacious and the options list is downright luxurious: A/C, power windows, locks, and mirrors, cruise control, and a tilt steering column, and it all works. It also features dual tanks and pushbutton 4-wheel-drive, making it easy to life with if you make it your daily driver. There’s a little bit of wear on the driver’s seat, but it’s in line with the truck’s age and mileage, and the AM/FM/cassette stereo radio doesn’t seem to want to tune to different stations, but those are the lone demerits in an otherwise extremely nice truck. The A/C blows cold, the cruise control holds speed properly, and all the gauges work as they should. There’s also a sliding rear window that creates nice breeze-free ventilation on those days when it’s not quite hot enough to need the A/C. Headliner, carpets, and the dash all remain in great shape.

The 5.8 liter V8 was fuel injected in 1995, which means easy starts, a nice idle, and great low-end torque. It has been properly maintained and runs great, and as you surely already know its durability is legendary. It makes nice V8 sounds, too. The engine bay is extremely clean, offering more evidence that this truck has never been out in harsh winter weather, and it’s 100% stock so you know it hasn’t been abused. Even the factory markings and decals are still in place. Underneath it’s original with some surface scale on the heavy metal parts like the “Twin I-Beam suspension” but you’ll note the cab floors, rockers, and bed floor are in outstanding condition with no rust issues at all. The AOD 4-speed automatic shifts cleanly and offers a deep overdrive that makes the truck feel relaxed on the highway. And despite the 4-wheel-drive stance, it’s a comfortable cruiser that is equally at home in the dirt or on the road. We believe even the exhaust is factory-issue, which should tell you just how clean this truck really is. It just works like it should. Bright aluminum wheels look awesome against the white paint and carry 31x10.50-15 off-road radials that have a lot of life left in them.

Documentation includes the factory manuals and original window sticker.

Just a very well maintained and very clean F150 with all the desirable options. Trucks like this are growing in popularity and given their status as work vehicles, not a lot of them have survived in this condition. With attractive colors, nice documentation, and a clean bill of health, this one is ready to enjoy right away. Call now!

About Ford
Ford, founded in 1902, has arguably changed the history of automotive world more than any other car manufacturer by introducing the first people's car Model T in 1908. They had produced more than 15 million cars by the end of the production in 1927, by which T had become obsolete.

Ford launched the first low priced V8 engine powered car in 1932. 1932 V8 was an instant hit with superior handling and performance to many far more expansive cars of the day. No wonder 32 V8 Ford has become such a favourite among hot rodders around the world with 32 Deuce coupe as their icon.

During the war Ford completely shut down civilian vehicle production to dedicate all its resources to the Allied war efforts (1942-45) They used to build B-24 bombers, aircraft engines, jeeps, M-4 tanks, military trucks and Bren-gun carriers and more than 30,000 super-charged Rolls Royce Merlin V-12 engines for Mosquito and Lancaster bombers as well as P-51 Mustang fighters. After the war Ford cars in the USA got bigger and flashier along with their competitors. In the 60's Ford was back in the forefront again when introducing their commercial hit Mustang in 1964. Mustang was so popular the competition had to follow Ford's example and the ponycar phenomenon took over the US. Over the years the ponies grew some muscles until the oil crisis kill finally killed them off.

In the sixties Ford rushed into international motor sports scene with a fury. After unsuccessful Ferrari takeover, when Enzo Ferrari had cut the deal off with Henry Ford II making the latter absolutely boil with fury, Ford turned to Lola in UK to produce a Ferrari beating long distance racer after. The collaboration between Ford and Lola created the mighty Ford GT40 that absolutely beat Ferrari in Le Mans 24 numerous times.

In Europe, Ford introduced some of the most epic race and rally cars of the 60's based on humble family sedans; Cortina GT, Lotus Cortina, Escort Twin Cam, and Escort 1600RS with the iconic Cosworth BDA engines.
