Cadillac Series 62 390 ci V8 1960

General description : 1960 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible Cadillac has always been known for luxury and they released the Series 62 all the way back in 1940.  Throughout there life span they were regularly redesigned with some generations only sticking around for 2 years before they were restyled again.  The 6th generation, for example, was considered only the 1959 and 1960.  This very cool Series 62 is the rare convertible model and is in great condition.  The car received a frame off restoration in the early 90's and has since belonged to a private collector.  It has since been extremely well maintained and has been stored in a climate controlled facility.  It gets driven around the property and exercised but hasn't really been taken out and shown off for years.  The gloss Black paint has a nice finished and is combined with a Black convertible top.  It also has a Red boot to put in place when you are cruising with the top down.  All of the original style chrome and stainless trim is in great shape with a bright shine.  The dual double headlights work right and of course in back are those classic Cadillac fins with taillights.  The car rides on the correct spoke wheels with wide whites which tops off the luxurious exterior.  Getting this thing rolling is its 390 ci V8 engine that was rebuilt during the restoration.  Everything under the hood has been kept very stock for that factory fresh look.  Mated to the motor is the Hydramatic transmission sending power back to the stock rear end.  Being a Cadillac you can guarantee it received all of the upgrades available at the time.  It is pretty impressive to think this 1960 car has all the options like power brakes, power steering, power seats, power windows, a power top, and air conditioning.    The Red leather interior was entirely redone and is in great condition.  The original trim is all there as is all of the factory controls and gauges.  The odometer currently shows 54,609 miles but it has significantly less than that since the restoration was completed.  Add this beautiful rare Cadillac to your collection for $110,000.00!
