Pontiac Catalina Am 1977

General description : 1977 Pontiac Can AmThis special edition Pontiac Can Am is one of only 1,377 built and this particular example has achieved over 40 awards including a First Place Award at the 1998 Pontiac Nationals in Sturbridge, MA. It was also featured in an article in the February 1999 edition of High Performance Pontiac Magazine. Under the hood lies a W72 high-performance 400 cubic inch V8 with automatic transmission. This is an original example with matching numbers and 4 new BF Goodrich tires. Special options include P/steering, P/brakes, Safe-T-Track Differential, Rally RS Handling Package, Rally Wheels, Shaker Hood, Gauge Package, Delco AM/FM Stereo, Tilt Steering, Custom Air Conditioning, Front & Rear Custom Seat Belts with Front Shoulder Straps, Front & Rear Bumper Guards, Cruise Control, Bucket Seats & Console and Soft Ray Glass. *Numbers matching motor. *PHS documentationThe odometer reads 29,667 miles and although Showdown Motors cannot verify the miles, the paint appears to be original which would make one wonder if the miles are original. The aforementioned paint looks pristine and although the interior is essentially new in overall appearance, there are some scuffs on the door panels presumably from peoples' rings. A rare and unique 70's muscle car.Showdown Motors Inc. 596-791-0778
