Description : Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this rare 1972 Pontiac Lemans sport convertible! The GTO gets ALL the love, but Pontiac had a car for every budget and customer. This 72 Lemans sport represents that philosophy to a tee. Finished in a gorgeous Brasilia Gold over a black bucket with center console interior and a white power convertible top - this thing grabs the eye. The white GT stripe along the flanks and classic Pontiac Rally IIs accentuate the color and set the car apart. The color matched Endura bumper and rear spoiler ensure this car makes no apologies for what it is at the Pontiac meets. It looks as good as any GTO! There's plenty of power to match the looks thanks to the venerable 400ci V8 topped with a 4-barrel carb and a three-speed manual handling shifting duties. This car was optioned with power brakes (disk up front) power steering, Rally gauges, and dual sport mirrors and horns. Did we mention the AC? Yes, this is a very well optioned - claimed original - 1972 Lemans! Except for one respray it's as it was from the factory. The car comes with a PHS to verify the numbers and options, plus a copy of the order and build sheet. This is a car for the serious collector. Well documented and in near mint condition. Runs and drives great and will be a great addition to any garage!
