General description : Zeer stoere Triumph TR5 TR250 uitgevoerd in Royal Blue. De Triumph TR250 werd in een bescheiden serie van 8484 stuks gebouwd welke allen werden verscheept naar de verenigde staten, naar schatting zijn er na 50 jaar nog ongeveer 600 exemplaren overgebleven. Dit exemplaar is kort geleden volledig gerestaureerd. De koets is zeer netjes opnieuw gespoten in de originele kleur, een schitterende en stijlvolle combinatie met het chroomwerk van de grille en bumpers. Ook de chromen spaakvelgen zijn hier een mooie toevoeging aan. Het interieur werd aangepakt en verkeert in een prachtige staat, de stoelen zijn voorzien van mooi zwart leder en een keurige witte bies. Het stuur is vervangen door een prachtig exemplaar van Moto-Lita. Ook de techniek werd aangepakt. Onder de kap ligt de potente 6 in lijn motor voorzien van twee Stromberg carburateurs. Kortom een zeldzame klassieker die weer helemaal klaar is voor een paar prachtige ritten! The TR5 was produced in small numbers when compared with the later TR6, with just 2,947 units produced; the first car was assembled on 29 August 1967 and the last on 19 September 1968. Of these, 1,161 were destined for the UK market,[6] the remainder were left hand drive and were exported to France, Belgium and Germany amongst other countries. TR250. Price pressures and tighter emission regulations resulted in twin Zenith-Stromberg carburettors being fitted instead of the TR5's Lucas fuel injection system. Otherwise it is nearly identical. The TR250's engine delivered 111 bhp (81 kW), 39 bhp less than the TR5; 0??60 mph (0??97 km/h) acceleration took 10.6 seconds.[2][9] The TR250 was also available with the Surrey Top system.
