This simply gorgeous Iso Rivolta Lele was initially a Swiss supplied car and registered on the 1st November 1971. Some 14 years ago the car was imported into the Netherlands by a car collector. It came into the hands of its last enthusiast in 2006. After a years use , the car was then completely restored. The Lele was taken apart in December 2007 with working starting in February 2008. Ten years later in 2018 this epic, no costs hold, restoration was finally finished. Every aspect of the restoration has been extensively recorded in a 92-page document, not to forget the hundreds of photos accompanying it. It was a proper ‘Bare-Metal’ restoration. It has resulted in the car being in exceptional condition. The straight bodywork has perfect body panel fittings and similar splendid lacquer finish. The chrome parts and the cars interior trim are also as good as new. The new sound underbody is fully rust-free. A number of improvements were added during the restoration, These included a larger radiator, Edelbrock carburettor four new aluminium rims, new Koni’s as well as the exhaust manifold being ceramically coated. This is car number 75 of only 285 Lele’s ever made. Chevrolet supplied the 5.3 and 5.7 engines. This one has 5.7 version with automatic transmission and is one of only 23 Lele’s produced to this spec. Finished in ‘Blue Metallizzato’ with a beige leather interior trim. The story of Iso, the stylish Italian GT with good old American grunt, is a tale of innovation and passion that left a lasting mark on the automotive world. It all began in the early 1950s when Renzo Rivolta, an Italian engineer and entrepreneur, decided to enter the car manufacturing business.
