Jaguar XJ6 Coupe 4.2 Series 2 EU car, only 3 owners and 88.41 1977

General description : One immaculate 1977 Jaguar XJ6 Coupe 4.2 Series 2 for sale. This British Leyland France ordered example rolled of the production line on the 21st June 1977 and reached its 1st owner on the 1st July 1977. He only held onto the car for a year. The second owner registered the car in the Netherlands and kept it from `78 to `90. The third owner kept the car until 2014, 24 years! The fourth and final owner has kept it until now. The XJC has only driven 88.412 kilometers. All four owners were very particular about their car and lavished the upmost amount of care and attention on the car. The paperwork has also been kept in order with many invoices, old registration documents as well as a Heritage certificate. This Jag has not been restored and is in a superb state. The third owner had the car professionally re-sprayed. The tight bodywork has perfect body panel fittings and wonderful paintwork, embellished by brilliant chrome work. The original ‘Cinnamon’ leather trim has a beautiful patina and is in superb condition. It also still has its original vinyl roof covering. Finished in ‘Opalescent Silver Grey’ with the aforesaid ‘Cinnamon’ leather trim, it forms a classy combination. This XJ still has its original, matching numbers 4.2 6-cylinder engine. It is in great working order and comes with a stainless steel exhaust system. Not many of the 1,873 XJC 4.2 series 2 cars have survived. A true Gentleman`s Coupe with a touch of British elegance.
