Very rare and original Mercedes Benz 560 SEC Straman convertible from 1990. In 1992 professionally converted to a convertible for Mercedes Benz USA. This is carried out by the reputable coachbuilder and specialist R. Straman Co, located in Costa Mesa California. There are only 116 examples converted for Mercedes Benz! Straman is a very well-known coachbuilder and converted also Ferrari and Porsches. These kind of conversions were very costly. In 1990 the price for this car was $92.000,- and the costs of the conversion were $20.000,- extra. The bodywork is in excellent condition and has perfect panel fittings. The underside is in mint condition, very original and free of rust. The paintwork is still for 95% original, unique! Performed in the original colour ‘Astral’ sliver metallic in combination with the original dark blue leather interior and dark blue soft-top. A very chic combination! This car has only driven 85.000 miles and is in a perfect working and driving condition. Technically in very good condition as well! The powerful 5.6 liter V8 with 300 HP makes driving this car a very special experience. Equipped with all modern luxury, like electric windows, electric soft-top, cruise control, electric adjustable and heated seats, ABS, ESP, air-conditioning, power steering, airbags, engine immobilizer, three piece alloy AMG Wheels and central door locking system. In short, a special and rare four-seater convertible in a great original condition!
