Plymouth Duster 440 CID V8 1971

General description : Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to present this Powerful 1971 Plymouth Duster for sale in our St. Louis showroom. The Plymouth Duster is a perfect foundation to build a car for the high powered streets or car cruises and this 1971 is a great blend of the two. This Red Duster has a mean 440 big block out of a 1969 Charger (it is a Super Commando). At the turn of the key this beast comes alive and everyone around will know you mean business. To put that much power to the street this Duster has numerous upgrades, the transmission is a 727 TorqueFlite automatic transmission. It is paired with a 8.75 rear end that has Posi Traction and 4.10 gears. The classic Centerline wheels are sporting a set of BFGoodrich Comp T/A Drag Radial tires. This Duster may have the power to run a 1/4 mile time in the mid 10-11 second range, but it still retains everything to use as a street car as well. The car has a gorgeous red interior that has been totally been redone with two red racing bucket seats, red dash, and red carpet. The car will never overheat thanks to the amazing oversized aluminum radiator and the huge hood scoop courtesy of the pin on hood. If you are wanting a amazing and dependable street car that also packs a punch this is the car for you.
