Description : Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas is proud to offer this sharp 1966 Pontiac Bonneville Convertible. The current owner obtained this convertible from a dealer and enjoyed top down cruising on the weekends. Walking around this beauty one should notice the gloss teal paint that is offset with a black soft convertible top. Adding to the curb appeal are the famous late 60's Pontiac double stack headlights, chrome bumpers, chrome trim, chrome mirrors, chrome handles, 14" chrome hubcaps wrapped in Indy 500 Firehawk radial tires, and even fender skirts. When the top is down, the Parchment white vinyl interior offsets the teal painted body well. The interior also features woodgrain dash inserts, black carpeting, Parchment door panels, and black convertible top. This '66 gives the driver a mix of V8 performance with a touch of comfort features. Some options include air conditioning (R12), AM/FM radio, power convertible top, power brakes, power steering, vinyl seats, etc. Powering this beast is a 389 CID V8 engine that is mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission. If you are looking for a 60's convertible American muscle, this Bonneville could be the one for you.

Variants: Offered various models and engine options, including the Trans Am, which gained fame through movies like "Smokey and the Bandit."
Pontiac Grand Prix (1962-2008):
Personal Luxury Car: Initially a full-size car, later transformed into a mid-size model, known for its blend of comfort and performance.

Impact and Legacy:
Performance Image: Pontiac carved a niche for itself by emphasizing performance, sportiness, and innovation, attracting younger and enthusiast drivers.
Marketing Success: Innovative marketing strategies and successful racing endeavors contributed to Pontiac's popularity and brand image.
Cessation of Production: Unfortunately, due to financial constraints and changes in consumer preferences, GM discontinued the Pontiac brand in 2010, marking the end of its legacy in the automotive industry.
