Originally an option package for the Pontiac Tempest in 1964 and 1965, the GTO became its own model from 1966-1971. The Pontiac GTO was named Motor Trend's car of the year in 1968, and the 1969 carried over the attributes that helped it win the award in 1968. This incredible GTO was redone during its restoration to its current color scheme of Burgundy and a black vinyl interior. This car does come with plenty of documentation as well. Pop the hood, and you'll find its rebuilt, matching numbers 400 V8 engine stroked to a 467 mated to a rebuilt, 3 speed 400 Turbo-matic automatic transmission. This 1969 Pontiac GTO is equipped with Viking Front and Rear shocks, Brand New 2 ½" exhaust system, New Pontiac Ram Air Exhaust Manifolds, New Tires including the spare, and New Brakes. With lots of extras like SD Performance Hydraulic roller cam, SD Performance CNC professionally Ported Heads, Hideaway Headlights, Hood Tachometer, Remote Mirror, factory Wood Wheel, and a Judge Spoiler.
