Up for sale we have a 1981 Pontiac Trans AM. This is an amazing opportunity to own not just a gorgeous classic, but also a low mileage car that has been meticulously cared for throughout its entire life. As you can imagine the body on this car is phenomenal. All of the panel fit, gaps, and body lines are as close to perfect as your going to find. It done in the Spectra Red which we believe to be the original paint! As you can see it has a gorgeous shine, and with the complement of the Trans AM Decals it makes for a stunning classic. Also, don't miss that this is also a factory Fisher T Top car. All the glass is in great condition and the side windows are Power and working as they should. Also, Both Bumpers, All the moldings, and All the trim are in excellent condition. One of the final touches is the factory 15” Turbo Rims that are riding on the original Goodyear Polyglass Tires.
Next, we will look at the interior of this '81. On the inside you will see it follows suite with the exterior as it all appears to be original and in excellent condition. The Medium Red Cloth interior is gorgeous accent to the Spectra Red and makes for a beautiful vehicle inside and out. You'll notice the seat covers are like new along with all the padding. Looking at the dash you'll notice the pad is also like new and that the Speedo, Gas, Tach, Temp, Amp, and Oil Pressure gauges are working as they should. As we noted above this is a Power Window as well as T Top car. In the trunk it has the factory spare, jack and instructions. Also, everything is rock solid from the jams to pan.
Finally, we will look at the driveline of this Pontiac. Under the hood it has the Matching Numbers Turbocharged 301 Engine that's mated to the 350 Turbo Trans. It's often forgotten that these blocks were stronger than the naturally aspirated versions. This '81 also features the 5PQ 10 Bolt Posi Rear End with a 3.08 Gear. One of the nice features of this TA is the Four Wheel Disc Brakes that are Power. It also has Power Steering and is a Factory AC Car that is working! Now When you look under this '81 it's sure to take you back. You'll notice right away that it has been exceptionally cared for as all the factory markings are still visible. One of the things we love the most about this car is how amazing the floors and frames are. They all appear to be original and are in excellent condition. This Pontiac even has the factory exhaust system still intact.
