Description : Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to present this 1986 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am! The blue exterior looks great right along with the glass t-tops down to the gray interior! This car is incredibly clean and low mileage with the odometer closing in on 31,000 miles.

The Firebird brochure from 1986 says it best. 'Lean. Mean. And outrageously beautiful. Trans Am for 1986 is raw power, sleek aerodynamics and crisp handling. And it's ready to prove it's a Pontiac performance title - whenever you are.'

For 1986 standard equipment included rally tuned suspension giving the car the 'crisp' handling mentioned in the brochure. The styling is fantastic. Pontiacs have a soft spot for many enthusiasts as their styling is typically just a bit more out there than their GM brethren.

The seller states the vehicle is original and retains all original panels and paintwork. In 2018 the fuel injectors were replaced making the throttle response much much better compared to cars with original injectors. Shortly after replacing the injectors the AC system was converted to accommodate R-134 which makes the system a lot more serviceable! It is also currently blowing cold!

80s and 90s cars are on the rise, and this is your chance to get on before the train leaves the station. What fits the 80s better than Pontiac muscle, 8 cylinders, t-tops, and a well-maintained car with a good history?!
