Porsche 911 / 966 3.4L H6 FI DOHC 2000

General description : This cool 2000 Porsche Carrera is for sale at our Louisville KY showroom. Porsche has always been known for its awesome and one off rear wheel rear engine configuration. The 2000 Porsche Carrera line up was available in a number of configurations. Probably one of the most sought after has to be the convertible. The soft top how ever was not too appealing to look at when up. Porsche solved that problem like many manufacturers in the past by adding a removable hardtop as an option. This black beauty has just that with the removal being extremely simple. One latch and a quarter twist of 2 Allen head screws and the top can lifted right off. The portable sand makes it easy to roll out of the way for convenient storage. The black paint on the car is in great condition for a car that is 18 years old showing very minimal signs of wear. Under the trunk is that amazing 3.4 liter horizontally opposed 6-cylinder engine that produces an amazing 300HP. With the dash showing no service lights and great oil pressure we have a great impression of this car. Hop into the driver’s seat and the impression goes from great to unbelievable. The 6-speed manual transmission feels tight going through the gears like a European car should. With the engine producing a ton of torque the car pulls hard as it was intended to do. While shifting through those gears you are wrapped in a great feeling leather bucket seat that has all the side bolster you will need to keep you firmly in place. If you had to explain this 2000 Porsche Carrera in one word it would have to be exciting! Options on this 2000 Porsche Carrera include A/C, Aluminum Alloy Wheels, ABS, Anti-Theft System, AM/FM stereo with CD Player, Cruise Control, Driver/Passenger Airbags, Removable Hardtop, Power Convertible top Lumbar Support, Leather Interior, Power Door Locks, Power Seats, Power Steering, Power Windows, Remote Keyless Entry, Radial Tires, Traction Control, ad Tilt/Telescoping Steering Wheel.
