General description : Ein feines britisches Automobil, das mit seinen vielen liebevollen werksseitigen Details in Ausstattung und Verarbeitung überrascht. Die Proportionen der Karosserie sind absolut stimmig. Die geduckte Linienführung mit den kleinen Seitenscheiben hat etwas coupeartiges.
Der seidenweich laufende 6 Zylinder-Motor ist mit einem sehr präzis schaltendem 4-Ganggetriebe ausgestattet, das wahlweise auch einen Freilauf (vergleichbar einer Torpedo-Freilaufnabe bei einem Fahrrad) umgeschaltet werden kann. Das ist ausgesprochen schonend und benzinsparend. Dieses Fahrzeug wurde in den 90er Jahren von einem Rover Vertragshändler als persönliches Exponat restauriert und gelang danach u.a. in den Besitz des Vorsitzenden des deutschen Rover Clubs. Die orig. Betriebsanleitung ist dabei.
Eine Probefahrt überzeugt und überrascht zu erleben, wie weit führend der engl. Automobilbau damals war.
Eine große Inspektion ist frisch gemacht, einschl. Erneuerung der Reifen, Bremsen, Kühlernetz und aller Flüssigkeiten. Frische HU und H-Kennzeichen selbstverständlich.
