Rover P5 (3-Litre/3.5-Litre) 3L 1966

General description : Rover P5 3 liter Saloon left hand drive from 1966 for sale
Exterior: Very nice two-tone paint in dark blue and grey below. The paint is close to perfect and the chrome is very nice to. Great looking Rostyle wheels with a thin white stripe give this Rover P5 a little bit sportier appearance than they normally have. The car has a perfect ride height and just looks amazing on the road. At least, in Sweden there are not so many cars like this, so a lot of people sneak up and try to read what is says on the badge.
Interior: Grey leather to match the outside lower part of the car. It is a great feeling to sit inside this car. Beautiful dashboard, all instruments and little switches are in great condition and everything works. Wood panels are also in good condition.
Engine: The 3l straight six engine in the Rover P5 has a fantastic sound and this car is no exception. The engine starts easily and feels very strong. Gearbox is nice and firm and when you put in that overdrive you are just cruising along. It is hard to believe that you are driving in a car that was built in 1966 since it is so comfortable and quiet in the cabin. Gearbox and final drive have normal sound. Power steering works perfectly.
History: As you can see, this is a left-hand drive, so it was sold new here in Sweden back in 1966. It was always a well-taken-care-of car. It is still the original leather interior and carpets. It was repainted at some point and looks wonderful. It comes with a huge binder of collected invoices over the years. The original handbook and a workshop manual. Not easy to find a better-looking Rover P5 today at this price level.
