Rover P6 (2000/2200/3500) 3500 1971

General description : Trade-in car. Part-exchange car: This Rover P6 3500 first hit the road in 1971. It has the iconic Rover V8 engine coupled to a Borg warner 3-speed automatic transmission. As the battery had to placed in the boot in order to be able to fit the engine, the spare tyre ended up on the boot lid. This Rover is in neat condition. The car is rust-free. The bodywork is neat with straight well aligned panelwork. The brightwork is neat although not new. The paintwork is in an older neat condition with signs of previous use. The interior trim is also in a good used state. The leather has some scuff marks but overall has been treated well and is supple. The carpets show they have been around for some time but are still neat and not worn. It has a good running engine with ample power. The automatic works well and the general roadholding can not be described other than being good. To maximise the car’s performance we would advise to have a thorough service carried out. This is a lovely useable neat Rover P6 3500. THIS VEHICLE IS IN OUR STORAGE, VIEWING BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.
