Their idea, not one flat panel everything had to have compound curves and very little chrome. They felt that chrome was basically over after the lavish use of it in the fifties. So this car is the end result and I think it is incredible. It is one of those few cars that grabs you by the eye balls and makes you look at it, makes you want it. This 1970 Avanti for sale is a great example, the body is in great shape, engine pumps out more than enough power, transmission shifts tight and right. It handles well and the interior looks almost new.
