Beautiful 1974 Volkswagen Super Beetle Sedan
New to our Pleasanton showroom is this highly impressive 1974 Volkswagen Super Beetle 2 Door Sedan with yellow exterior paint and a black vinyl interior.  You’ll find a 1600cc four-cylinder engine under the hood with a 4-speed manual transmission and this desirable Beetle has been very nicely restored in recent years after spending several decades in storage.  It recently received a new braking system, new tires, a new gas tank, new struts, transmission mounts, a new starter, a fully new/replaced interior and so much more- this beautiful Beetle has to be seen in person to fully appreciate.
Freshly Restored After 21+ Years in Storage in Florida 
The current owner of this 1974 Volkswagen Super Beetle Sedan is the 3rd to enjoy iy and he took possession in 2020.  He informs us that this gorgeous example originally sold in San Diego, California and made it’s way to Florida with the 2nd owner.  At some point in the mid-1990’s, it was placed in storage for 21 years at a body shop waiting for an eventual restoration of the factory drivetrain and accessories.  It was finally sorted out completely under the current owner and this iconic classic is in fantastic shape both inside and out.
In terms of present condition, this 1974 Volkswagen Super Beetle Sedan shows excellent in person with smooth body lines and very nice exterior paint, trim, metalwork and glass.  There are a few minor imperfections to be found but nothing that takes away from this classic’s overall curb appeal or reliable performance.  The interior, mechanicals and engine compartment have also been fully refreshed over the past few years and this classic Beetle can be enjoyed right away as a weekend driver for local shows and events.
