General description :
This stunning Volvo P1800 S was sold from new by the Californian, Santa Monica based Kramer Motors on the 27th November 1968, first registered in 1969. It has recently had a bare-metal restoration and total mechanical overhaul. This was a no cost, no effort spared exhaustive total restoration. The engine, gearbox, complete drive train, suspension and rear axle were amongst the items that were meticulously restored. During the restoration the car is equipped with various upgrades. Such as disc brakes all around and Weber carburetors. The whole restoration was documented in a photo album containing many photos, invoices, the original bill of sale, original dealer window screen sticker, and copy of its first registration. This car’s fantastic bodywork has straight and particularly good body panel fittings. The fine paintwork has a lovely lustre. Of course, as the pictures show, the underbody is as good as new! The car has a black finish with black leather interior trim and matching black rims. The excellent condition of the interior trim is equal to the rest of the car.
