This lovely 1958 Austin Healey 100-6 BN6, is the popular 2-seater version with a 6-cylinder engine with overdrive. This particular version was in production from March’58 to March ’59. It was registered in California, the USA on the 1st May 1959. A few years ago it was subject to a Dutch meticulous and detailed restoration and mechanical overhaul. The great quality bodywork is straight with perfect body panel fittings. The chrome details are very fresh and the paintwork is brilliant. The colour-coded underbody is as good as new. It has a red finish with a black piped red leather interior trim and red carpets. This Healey has a number of accessories and modifications. It has chrome wire wheels, electronic ignition, an electromechanical overdrive on the 3rd and 4th gear, an AC/DC alternator, Kenlowe fan, luggage rack with picnic basket and wide angle and dim lights. It has a new petrol pump, new pressure filter. The gearbox and instrument panel have been refurbished, the brakes and the main/subsidiary coupling-cylinder are new. Austin Healey war ein britischer Sportwagen machen als Joint-Venture zwischen der Austin Division der British Motor Corporation (BMC) und der Donald Healey Motor Company erstellt.Ersten Healey-Modell, Healey 100, wurde am Austin A90 Atlantic Mechanik basiert und von Donald Healey entwickelt, um in-Haus zu bauen.
