Solid, unrestored original 1979 Land Rover Series III. This is a solid Safari-roof 109 5 dr Wagon model in the desirable TWELVE SEATER configuration. Runs and drives well for a vintage 109.
83K original miles. Desirable 2.6L straight 6 cyl motor ( not available in the US), not the 2.25 4 cyl motor. Salisbury rearend. Rebuilt carburetor, water pump, new battery, HD alternator and brake master cylinder. New set of GOODYEAR Wrangler tires all around. All new lneses, HELLA H-4 headlight and vintage Land Rover factory foglights.
RUST FREE chassis, floorboards, doors, bulkhead and cross-member. Originally Marine blue, painted over in Wimbledon beige. No dents, accidents or damage. NEEDS PAINT.
Nice original black leatherette interior, with good headliner, door panels and CLEAN seats. Still has its five fold-down access steps all the way around. Perfect grille. Priced way below market at $23,900 or B/O.

Original UK license plates still with the 109. Came through POE Baltimore, registered in the East coast. Original Zambian plates had to be turned in going through POE at Dar es Salaam in Tanzania. Now residing in northern California. there is NOTHING comparable in the market for the money, specially with the 2.6L 6 cyl engine which is impossible to find here, as just about all 109s in the US are powered by 4 banger motors.
