The engine bay is ready for display. It's a tidy setup with newer components and an overall clean look. And we love how the high temp red on the valve cover matches the air grabbers. But what should really get you excited is this Volvo's correct 1.8-liter motor. These have an exceptionally robust reputation, and you're looking at a well-done dual-carb setup. It fires up readily and runs strong, so it's a true hardy Nordic warrior. You also have the right newer components, like an aluminum radiator w/electric fan to help keep this running cool, and newer bushings to add a confidently sharp feeling on the road. There's also front disc brakes and sway bars front & rear. Plus, those whitewall tires that look cool on the outside are actually masking modern sport rubber. So this lowered and patina'd Volvo is also a truly strong driver to enjoy near or far.
