German Car Fan Chrome wheel arch trim, aluminium deck. I' say it is real CSL -
Andreas That may or may not be a real CSL but it's definitely no Batmobile. A genuine BM would have the roof-mounted rear aerofoil as well as a spoiler under the rear wing. And the lid would be steel on the bat ones, not aluminium.

Bought unseen at more than reasonable price. What was supposed to be a Sagitta 900 in well-used condition turns out to be a scratch build 600 with a few extra wing ribs to reach a wingspan of 2.3m. But it has been through a thing or two... Stay tuned for more.

Andreas We had two kits made. Unless someone takes this of my hands I have no option but build it, which shouldn't take too long as it really is very simple construction. Should that happen I do have a few ideas how to improve its performance though.

Andreas First of all, I would extend the wing to 2100mm, carve Aquila type winglets, move the servos forward as much as possible, replace the wooden steering rods with carbon fibre ones, aluminum tubes for the tail plane rather than brass, remove the CG well back

Jaguar E-type S1 Geneva Debut 1961
Here's a rare color photo if the E-type Geneva auto show debut in March 1961.
Seeing this historic photo reminds me how differently E-type owners take to the history than say Porsche owners. Every E-type owner I know is fine with the fact that theirs is an evolution of the Le Mans winning D-type.

Andreas Nope, I had it for a year or so. Cleaned the injection pump to get it running and that's about it. The car went to someone who was planning to drop in an LS or similar lump.

Andreas Oddly enough I was just discussing the chassis colour with someone. Obviously, this one's light grey with wheel wells in the body colour.

Andreas The other thing to notice is that they tilt the front subframe to allow room for the intake manifold to slip between the chassis legs.
