This exceptional and unique Aston Martin Lagonda saloon, with chassis number”13345” came out of the factory in early 1984. It was intended for export to Oman and eventually the Aston Martin dealer “Zubair Enterprises” supplied it on the 12th of June 1984 when it was flown out to Oman. Shortly afterwards it returned to London for a “Tickford” conversion on request of the Sultan. From documentation we can see that the Sultans` wishes were carried out on the 12th of October 1984 by Tickford with most strikingly of all the addition of a red wine leather middle console containing a TV and Video unit and cocktail bar with glass holders. All in all this very exclusive and for its time rather expensive refurbishment (£2,000) was well ahead of its day! Two years ago a no cost barred full restoration took place at the hands of a renowned Dutch Aston Martin specialist at a cost of over €20,000. The result is an wonderful aesthetically pleasing car in perfect working order. The original leather trim is in excellent condition. Being mechanically 100% driving this famous 5.3 V8 310 horsepower unit is just purely exhilarating. Accompanying documentation includes the original Aston Martin ”Car record card”, Aston Martin certificate, and export papers. Aston Martin, en av Storbritanniens mest kända sportbilstillverkare, som grundades 1913 av Lionel Martin och Robert Bamford. Under sin brokiga historia finansbolaget har haft många ägare tar över bolaget, Sir David Brown för att nämna en.Mellan krigen som Bertelli Både teknisk chef och designer av alla nya Aston Martins, sprang alltså Känd som "Bertelli bilar".
