Here we have a 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle Convertible for sale. This Chevelle has undergone a frame up restoration featuring the Big Block drive train along with Power Steering and Power Disc Brakes. It started life as a 136 car and was redone with the SS Badges and is being sold as a Super Sport Clone. The body on it is very nice and they did a great job of fitting all the panels at the time of the restoration. We can see the body lines come together beautifully and that all the gaps are very nice as well. It's covered in the Regal Red paint that has been redone in the Base Coat Clear Coat and polished to a mirror finish that shows off the gorgeous styling of the '66. It's accented by the new Black Convertible top that has a great fit. Up front we can see that the grill is all in excellent condition along with the headlight bezels and front bumper. This '66 also sports the rocker molding that looks like new as well along with the rest of the moldings and trim. Out back the rear bumper was replaced along with the taillight bezels and lenses. To finish off the look of this Chevrolet it's sitting on a set of knock off wheels with new red line tires.
Next, we will look at the interior of this Convertible. On the inside it's all been completely redone in the red color scheme that flows perfectly with the exterior. All new door panels were installed, and all the trim and handles are in great condition. New carpet was installed along with new seal plates at the time of the restoration. This '66 features the correct bucket seats and console that houses the four-speed shifter. Both the front bucket and rear bench seat have had new covers installed and they did a great job on the install. Looking at the dash we can see the pad is in great condition along with the trim. It has the under-dash gauges along with the knee knocker tach. Also, it comes with the period correct steering wheel. Inside the trunk is all solid from the jams to the pan. It detailed out with the correct style splatter paint and comes with the bumper jack.
Finally, we will get to the heartbeat of this Chevrolet. Under the hood it's powered by the 454 Big Block engine that's set up with the Edelbrock intake and four-barrel Edelbrock Carb. It's dressed in the factory style valve covers and the new air cleaner. It comes set up with Power Steering along with Power Brakes with disc up front and drums out back. For exhaust it has manifolds with new dual pipes and dynomax mufflers with the turn down pipes out back. Underneath this Chevelle is all in exceptional condition as the floor's pans are solid along with the frame. It's clear this classic has been in the south most of its life. The 454 engine is mated to the Auto Gear 4 Speed Transmission that runs through the 12 Bolt Rear End. This '66 has the front and rear sway bars and on the highway is a pleasure to drive. Guranteed to turn heads and have you cruising through time as you make new memories, you don't want to miss this drop top 66 Chevelle.
