Lincoln Continental Mark V V Designer Edition Givenchy! Superb original conditi 1979

Allmän beskrivning : Enormous,Big, Large and Huge, these are words you associate with the USA, where everything is just that! Our latest acquisition, a Lincoln Mark V, is no exception to this rule! With a length of 5 meters 90 centimeter (230 inch) and weighing 2,5 tonnes, it is the Ford's largest coupe ever! With these measurements they also hung a 6.6 litre engine with a 3-speed automatic. It had a 3-year production run, at a price, even then, of $22,000. This Super-de-Luxe coupe came with a number of modern gadgets; a clock with date display, a fuel gauge showing “ tank empty" when you really have to pay a visit to the petrol station, steering wheel operated cruise control, electric seat adjustment, electric aerial, wing mirror attached external thermometer, luxury leather trim and front seat armrests and of course aircon.This gigantic coupe has a number of styling elements; the opera windows in the C-posts, the radiator grill and concealed headlamps which popped open when in use. When Mr. Jones from Albuquerque ordered this Mark V in 1979 he selected the “Givenchy Designer Package” option. The car came in metallic Crystal Blue finish, Crystal blue luxury leather interior trim and a Crystal Valino vinyl roof. The warm and low New Mexico humidity has ensured this Mark V has remained in a rust-free condition. The paintwork is superb and the interior shows only minimal signs of use and just 73,252 miles on the clock. This Mark V drive and handles superbly and has always been well maintained. This car is certainly striking with its stand-out styling, the huge engine and a level of driver and passenger comfort luring you back to the 80’s!
