Maserati Mistral 4000 1967

Allmän beskrivning : The Maserati Mistral is a brilliant car, don’t you think? It is rare too! The Mistral was first introduced in 1963. Pietro Frua drew the design. Frua’s designs are characterised by one mans hard work delivering exquisite tasteful design. The Mistral was the car that after a few one-offs revived the relationship between Maserati and Frua. It was also the the design that reconfirmed Frua’s reputation as a designer. The Mistral presented Maserati in a different light as manufacturer of luxurious, powerful and especially demure refinement. The Maserati Mistral was the last one to be fitted with a straight-six engine and the first to be named after a famous wind. The Mistral is a cold and powerful wind that blows in the south of France. This example is a Maserati Mistral 400, then their top of range model. This car was supplied by the West Nyack based Foreign Car City Inc.of New York State, the USA. It still has its official guarantee certificate. In 1997 this Mistral arrived in The Netherlands, where it has since had two owners. This wonderful GranTourer’s engine delivers 265 Hp at 5,200 revs and is coupled to a ZF 5-seed gearbox. Although an older restoration, thanks to the continued good care and attention during its life, this Maserati Mistral is still in good condition. The bodywork is neat with some signs of wear commiserate with its age. In the past the car was cosmetically re-sprayed, the paintwork remains in good condition. The interior trim is in a particular nice original condition and has developed a lovely patina. Apart from a few expected signs of use it is in a very condition. Mechanically the car is also very sound. The 4.0 litre straight-six is a fantastic engine well suited to this large GT’s relaxed character. The large bore delivers more than enough power, making this Mistral an ideal travelling companion. This car was made for travelling through Europe at speed. Are you the next owner who is going to forge unforgettable memories in this large GT. The previous owner spent € 12,000. maintaining this Mistral. Accounts relating to this and some of its American history are present. In short a well documented Mistral in great shape for your pleasure. om Maserati

Produktionsantal:

Ghibli (1967-1973): Cirka 1 170 enheter.
Bora (1971-1978): Ungefär 524 enheter.
Merak (1972-1983): Cirka 1 830 enheter.
