OSI-Ford 20 M TS Original color scheme, original interior, rebuilt 1968

Allmän beskrivning : This Ford OSI 20M/TS has become a seriously rare car. According to the German Ford OSI club only 200 remain in existence today. Our Ford OSI was supplied from new to Salerno, Italy in 1968. The car had one additional Italian owner before being sold to a German owner in 2010. The last owner bought the OSI in original condition. The car had been used daily and understandably showed some signs of use. The car was originally supplied in the beautiful grey colour she still has, although the thick wallet containing correspondence and invoices shows the car had been re-sprayed in red at one stage in Italy. The last owner however has restored the cars rare and original beautiful grey finish.The advantage of a dry climate is that cars remain rust-free in the main, as is with this car. The whole car was sandblasted before being spray-painted.The bodywork is of exceptional quality with fine weld seams and is correctly aligned. This car not only benefited from a re-spray, it was also subject to an extensive restoration. The interior trim was in fine well-used condition complete with a lovely patina. Instead taking the easy way of just replacing the leather trim, it was decided to restore the leather to its former glory. It of course added much more work and cost, but the final result is more than worth it. The mechanical aspects were naturally not overlooked. The 2.3 V6 engine and 4-speed gearbox has been totally overhauled. The smooth V6 engine delivers 108 Hp and only has to propel 1,150 kg in weight. This Ford OSI is really in fantastic condition and has had the very best attention it deserved over the last years. It does not need any further explanation that this lovely handling classic will give many more miles of old-timer pleasure.
