General description : Stunning Bentley Continental S3 H.J. Mulliner Park Ward. This example is on September 1st 1965 delivered in London at the Claridges Hotel. The body is fantastic, very straight and has perfect panel fittings. The paintwork is beautiful! The undercarriage is of course free of rust. In February 2003 Mr. Gateau-Cumin bought the car and took it with him to Beverly Hills, California. Mr. Gateau-Cumin won several events including a Concours d’Élégance from the Bentley/Rolls Royce club. The car comes from third owner! It is unbelievably good documented, all the correspondences with the factory dated back to 1965 and lots of invoices are still present. Also a copy build sheet, instruction booklet, service facilities brochure, radio registration card and bill of sale from 1965 are present! The car is equipped with toolkit, electric windows, tinted glass, Hirschmann electric aerial and Blaupunkt radio. The car has her original so ‘Matching Numbers’ engine. Sporty, chique, elegant and a very solid investment!

About Bentley
Before becoming a mere subsidiary to Rolls-Royce, Bentley was an independent Automaker famous for the "fastest lorries in the world" e.i Bentley 4½ Litre.

Good ol' Bentley boys (A group of wealthy British motorists, mainly Woolf Barnato, Sir Henry "Tim" Birkin, steeplechaser George Duller, aviator Glen Kidston, S.C.H. "Sammy" Davis, and Dr Dudley Benjafield ) -in their trusty Bentley cars- took four consecutive victories at 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1924, 1927, 1928, 1929, 1930

In 1931 Bentley was taken over British Central Equitable Trust that later proved to be a front for Rolls-Royce Limited. Unhappy with his role at Rolls-Royce, W.O. Bentley left the company when his contract expired in 1935 duly joining Lagonda. This was beginning of which ultimately led Bentley cars to become more or less badge-engineered Rolls-Royce.
