5-Gang Getriebe, Sperrdifferential, BMW-Sportsitze für Fahrer+Beifahrer, Beifahreraußenspiegel, Radio-Blaupunkt, Nebelscheinwerfer vorn+hinten, Fußmatten, Leichtmetallräder (Vorgestellt wurde der BMW 1600-2 auf dem Genfer Salon im März 1966, die Produktion begann wenige Wochen später. Der vergleichbare BMW 1600 der neuen Klasse kostete rund 1.000,-- Mark mehr. Im September 1967 folgte der BMW 1600 ti mit Zweivergasermotor, Servobremse, Stabilisatoren, hinteren Ausstellfenstern und Drehzahlmesser. Er blieb nur bis November 1968 im Programm - bis dahin wurden lediglich 8.670 Exemplare gefertigt und ausgeliefert - denn inzwischen gab es die Typen 2002 und 2002 ti. Die Kürzel "ti" bzw. "tii" bezeichnete übrigens stets die Sportversionen. Die ti-Modelle hatten 40er Solex-Doppelvergaser.
Dieser hier von uns angebotene BMW 1600 ti ist einer von 8.670 gefertigten Exemplare. Er wurde am 04.04.1968 nach Paris ausgeliefert und von seinem Besitzer nach Nizza verbracht, wo dieser ein Ferienhaus besaß. Aufgrund des trockenen Klimas, ist dieser Wagen in einem ungeschweißten Original-Zustand, ohne Rost, lediglich die Lackierung wurde in der Original-Farbe einmal erneuert. Vor einigen Jahren, wurde der Wagen von seinem Erstbesitzer nach Belgien an seinen 2. Besitzer verkauft. Der BMW 1600 ti präsentiert sich heute in einem tadellosen Original Sammler-Zustand, besonders attraktiv und begehrt die Sport-Extras die dieser Wagen hat. Der Fahrspaß mit diesem BMW 1600 ti ist selbst heute noch einmalig und mit keinem anderen Fahrzeug aus dieser Zeit zu vergleichen.
