Kaum zu glauben aber trotzdem wahr: Diese Isetta hat von Beginn an eine lupenreine Historie --- und alle relevanten Dokumente dieses sehr langen Isetta - Lebens sind bis heute im Original vorhanden.
Es begann 1957 mit dem damaligen "Pappdeckel"- Kraftfahrzeugbrief und dem dazu gehörenden Pflegedienstheft vom "Motocoupé BMW Isetta", was der damalige erste Eigentümer Josef Rosenbusch auch abstempeln ließ. Danach übernahm sein Duisburger "Kumpel" und Nachbar Johannes Leineweber die Isetta, fuhr sie bis 1984 und stellte sie dann 10 Jahre in seine Garage bis sie 1993 den letzen und endgültigen Liebhaber fand, der sie bis zu seinem Tod Ende 2015 gefahren hat. Dieser Herr Frangen war Mitglied im Isetta Club und ließ seinem Fahrzeug immer nur alles erdenklich Gute zuteil werden. Mit anderen Worten : Diese Isetta hatte es sehr gut in ihrem Leben und befand sich Dank erstklassiger Pflege und Wartung immer in einem neuwagenähnlichen Zustand. Natürlich wurde in den vergangenen fast 60 Jahren nicht immer nur die Technik vom Feinsten "in Schuss gehalten" ! Der größte Posten war bei km Stand 57.299 der Einbau eines neuen 41´er Austauschmotors mit 295 ccm und leistungsstärkeren 13 PS. Die original Rechnungen von Reparaturen und Wartungen sind alle noch vorhanden. Natürlich mußte auch die Lackierung und gesamte Innenausstattung erneuert werden. Deswegen sieht diese kultige "Knutschkugel" von BMW heute immer noch so aus, als ob sie seit 1957 noch nie richtig in der Autowelt teilgenommen hätte und gerade "vom Band" gelaufen ist. Sie sieht deshalb heute fast genauso neu aus wie vor fast 60 Jahren und riecht innen wie ein Neuwgen von Rolls-Royce. Das liegt natürlich an der kompletten erstklassigen Lederaussttung.Die konnte man damals zwar nicht als Extra bestellen, wurde aber trotzdem im Rahmen einer nachträglichen Veredelung eingebaut. Es ist ein wahrer Genuss, mit dieser Isetta über Land und in der Stadt zu fahren. Das ist wahres Understatement.
Wenn jemand neben seinem Bentley, Ferrari, Aston Martin, Rolls-Royce, Mercedes, Jaguar oder Bugatti noch einen Stadtwagen für Kurzstrecken haben möchte --- Hier ist er !
