Chevrolet 210 350 V8 1957

General description : 1957 Chevrolet 210 One of the most recognizable classics ever made has to be the 1957 Chevrolet.  These are a staple at every car show and the poster car for 50s automobiles.  They will always be popular so make a great addition to any collection.  This clean 57 is in great shape and done in a more restomod style.  It is originally a 210 but the Matador Red paint has been topped off with new BelAir trim.  All of the chrome and stainless is in excellent shape throughout.  The glass is in good shape as well and up front is fitted with polished wipers with a hidden electric motor.  The lights are all working properly with no issues.  The car rides on nice 17 inch American Racing Torq Thrust wheels and Fuzion ZRi tires.  Under the hood is a nicely built 350 motor that runs great.  It has been fitted with a mild cam, aluminum intake, 650 cfm Demon carburetor, roller rockers, a HEI distributor, and ram horn exhaust manifolds into dual exhaust.  It is also show ready with nice chrome accents and matching finned air cleaner and valve covers.  The car runs nice and cool with a new aluminum radiator and electric fan.  Paired with the engine is a Turbo 350 transmission that sends power through the new balanced driveshaft to an original 57 rear end.  the front brakes have been converted to disc and all are power.  It also has power steering making it a very comfortable classic to cruise around in.  Other nice features include a red top Optima battery and Lokar transmission dipstick.    The interior is done in a more modern Black and Gray combination that looks great.  It has dual bucket seats and custom door panels.  The dash is done in a stock style and everything looks good.  An underdash Old Air AC system has been added which blows cold.  A second gauge cluster was also added for oil/temp/amp gauges and the factory gauges have been rebuilt.  It also has a Sun tachometer added to the Ididit tilt column.  The stereo is an Autosound AM/FM/Casette player.  On the floor is a Lokar shifter which moves through the gears smoothly.  The trunk of the car is nicely finished out with a Black mat and the spare tire well has been filled in.  This nice 57 Chevy has a lot going for it and is a great driver. About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
